Mama’s Story- The Woman Behind the Legacy
Viola Elaine Telfair was a woman of extraordinary faith, wisdom, compassion, and dedication.
For 36 years, she faithfully served in education, touching the lives of countless students as a teacher and as head of the Mathematics Department at East St. John High School.
Her service extended beyond the classroom. She was a devoted woman of God, Vacation Bible School Director, Youth Ministry leader, mentor, and a servant who loved helping others.
Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Her life was a testimony of faith, love, excellence, and services.
Her life was a blessing. Her legacy will continue forever.
